My thanks to those citizens who support this organization and its programs.

Because our efforts deal with public safety and education, the tax paying public has the legitimate right to ask why he or she should lend their support. After all, plenty of your taxes already support public safety and education.

That’s why I urge you to learn more about what we provide. Unlike government programs, what we do is not mandated. Yet each year, police departments and schools from across the country participate in what we have to offer.

I believe the reasons are twofold: First, it is the need for our services. Quite, simply, no one else is doing what we do.

Second, and most import

antly, the police veterans who guide our programs have never lost their idealism. Their spirit drives our efforts. Their vigor gives it heart, which is why it works !

Citizens like you understand that privately funded citizen organizations play a vital role in promoting the safety and well-being of public safety officers. I love this country. I respect and honor our government. (I have worked for it for many years.) But there are some things that best come from those on the ground. The programs we provide are among those things.
